How to exercise your rights

Write to hello@tapcontact.ai with the subject "GDPR" and tell us what you need. We reply within 30 days at most. No forms, no registered letters, no patience required.

What you can ask for

• Access — a copy of all the data we hold about you. Spoiler: it isn’t much.
• Rectification — correcting anything that’s wrong. Your page you can edit directly.
• Erasure — deleting your account and everything in it. Deletion deletes; only the billing records tax law requires us to keep remain.
• Portability — your data in an open format. Your contact already lives in an open format by nature: the vCard.
• Restriction and objection — under articles 18 and 21 of the GDPR.

What we cannot give you

Data about who tapped your card — because we don’t have it. Tap statistics are aggregate counts with no identity: no IPs, no devices, no identifiable people on the other side.

Supervisory authority

If you believe we mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to the CNPD, the Portuguese data protection authority (cnpd.pt). We’d love you to talk to us first, but the right is yours.
